How It Works
Bolt Boss is quick and easy to use, and an instruction guide is included with every starter kit.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Identify leak area
- Clean excessive caulking from threads
- Cut 1/4” deep slot for screwdriver
- Run thread chaser down to nut and back
- Remove nut and washer, holding bolt with scraper if needed
- Run thread chaser to tank wall and back
- Thread Bolt Boss until O ring is hand tight on wall, remove scraper
- Injector on grease nipple, inject sealant, watch for leak reducing
- Remove Bolt Boss, reinstall washer and nut
- Repeat procedure with the bolts on either side of the leak
